The Lakewood Lancers couldn’t get past visiting Alemany in the second round of the CIF-SS Pac-5 Division Playoffs on Friday night, losing just their second game of the year but ending their season with a 42-21 loss.

Lakewood (10-2) trailed just 21-14 at halftime but couldn’t overcome quarterback Vernon Adams and the Alemany Warriors (12-0).
