The Gazette Newspapers and Harry Saltzgaver are reporting that on Tuesday night the Long Beach City Council was notified of the Golden Baseball League’s claim that they plan to sue the city for terminating its permit to play baseball at Blair Field.
According to some reports form the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department’s Business Operations Bureau, the Armada and GBL fell behind on payments. Meanwhile, the city and Long Beach State inch closer to a lease deal that will make Blair the official home for Dirtbag Baseball.
