The Poly Jackrabbits went to Compton on Wednesday needing a win, and they got one, with a 16-0 shutout of the host Tarbabes.  Poly’s Eric Gonzales got the win with four innings of work, and Kevin Nanbara was 4-4 with a double.

Poly improves to 2-2 in league, while Compton falls to 0-4  The Jackrabbits will be at Blair on Friday in a huge showdown against Lakewood; the Tarbabes will face Wilson this afternoon at Blair.
