Poly suffered its first shutout loss of the season, dropping an 8-0 decision to Chaminade on Monday afternoon in an Anaheim Lions Tournament.

Chaminade held the Jackrabbits to three hits, a double by Thomas Walker and singles by Nikko Santos and Frankie Rios.

Starter Trevor Kellogg (4-2) delivered a solid performance against Chaminade.  The 23rd ranked team in the L.A. Times Southland rankings moved to 11-3, but were limited to four earned runs in six innings. It was the first tournament loss for Poly who moves to 8-6-1 overall.
