The Jordan Panthers ended their season on a high note at home with a victory over the Compton Tarbabes, 3-1, on Thursday afternoon.

The Tarbabes took the early lead with a run off an error in the first inning, but Panther starter Danny Puente shut it down from then on.  Puente gave up just two hits and went the distance, while Pedro “Pollo” Torres finished his career at Jordan with two huge RBI in the sixth inning.

“We were young and inexperienced,” said Prager.  “But we taught out kids how to play baseball the right way.”
