On Monday, Wilson’s Riley Parker gave up one run over five innings to earn the win as the Bruins came away with a 9-7 victory of M.L. King in the Anaheim Lions Tournament.
Keith White, Chris Hubbard and Solomon Williams each had a pair of hits and they accounted for five RBI for the Bruins. Wilson scored three runs in the first, one in the second and two in the third to keep ahead of King.
On Tuesday, Mission Viejo struck out 11 Bruin hitters on the way to a 4-2 victory. Mission Viejo banged out 11 hits, as Kyle Ritter took the loss for the Bruins. Chris Hubbard had an RBI double and Jordan Lillegard contributed an RBI sac-fly to complete the scoring for Wilson. They will play Cal-Hi at 10:00am at Brookhurst Park on Wednesday in the next round.
