After quite an amazing start to this season in some other local tournaments, the Moore League boys’ basketball teams came back to earth in the Ocean View Tournament of Champions last night.

In the first round of play on Monday, Lakewood, Poly and Compton all lost and will play again on Tuesday and Wednesday.  CLICK HERE for the Ocean View TOC website.

In the first game,  Kyle Fuller droped 42 to lead Rancho Verde to a one-point victory over Lakewood 65-64.  In the second game, the Cavaliers of Serra pulled away in the second half and took down Compton 69-53.  And finally in the third game, Compton-Centennial rained it in from three-point land and kept Poly at bay, beating the Jackrabbits, 73-66.
