WIlson got two goals each from Alexis Marin and Tony Gonzales on the way to a 6-0 victory at home over visiting Compton.  The Tarbabes couldn’t maintain possession early and the Bruins jumped out to a an early lead.

“I told the boys it was going to be a tough first 20 minutes, and it was,” said Wilson coach Mark Hervin.  “We kept our shape and organization.  I was very happy with the effort.”

Compton turned the ball over twice as much in the second half, and the Bruins turned them into scoring opportunities, including multiple set pieces.  The Tarbabes did not record a shot on goal all afternoon.

Wilson will next play Poly on Friday, while Compton will return home to see Lakewood on Wednesday.
