The Press Telegram’s Bob Keisser has broken the story that Long Beach State has signed Troy Buckley to the position of pitching coach and recruiting coordinator, replacing Jon Strauss, who left recently for Pepperdine.  Buckley was a coach with the Dirtbags from 2001-2007, and left two years ago to be the pitching coordinator for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
