The Tarbabes received an at-large bid into the IIA bracket (unlike their Moore League counterparts who are all in Division I), and they made the most of it in a 65-62 loss to Simi Valley on the road.  The score was tied at 60 with under thirty seconds left, when Simi scored to go ahead—Compton scored to even it, but a last-second three-pointer gave the Pioneers the win, and ended the season for a young Compton team that will return most of its squad next season.
