Millikan vs. Capistrano Valley, Millikan High @ 7pm

For the first time in awhile Millikan will have all the horses in the stable.  Or Rams, as it were.  When they take on Capistrano Valley toady at home in the first round of the CIF Playoffs, coach Alex Reyes will have regular starters Joseph Tobar, Conner McCombs and Spencer Knowles back in the pool.  All three missed time in the Poly and Wilson matches.

“We don’t know a lot about Capistrano,” said Reyes.  “But they’re a South Orange County team, so you know they’ll have guys… But I told the team this week it’s not about them… it’s about what we’re doing.  We need to trap and get steals on defense and feed our counter attack.”

Reyes knows Capo Coach Steve Yancey will have a good game plan ready for the Rams.  Yancey earned his 400th career victory in October.  It will most likely include a lot of senior Spenser Goodman, who lead the team in goals with 61.
