We’re pleased to report that in addition to the Moore League’s three automatic qualifiers, Poly, Lakewood, and Wilson, the Jordan Panthers received an at-large bid into the playoffs as well, so the league is definitely well-represented. Here’s who is playing where, in the first round of the playoffs, which will take place this Thursday at 3pm.
Poly: The Jackrabbits will host the winner of a Tuesday Wild Card match on Thursday—they’ll face either Los Osos or Rancho Alamitos.
Lakewood: The Lancers will host Highland on Thursday, after finishing second in the Moore League.
Wilson: The Bruins have a tough task in their Thursday visit to Serrano High School; Serrano was champion of the Mojave River League this season.
Jordan: The Panthers will visit Palmdale, the three-seed from the Golden League, in a Tuesday 3pm Wild Card match. If they win, they’ll move on to face Oaks Christian on Thursday. Jordan just qualified for the at-large bid by having a 10-10 overall record (5-10) in league. Teams must be .500 or better to receive playoff consideration.
