After the coin flips shook out, we got some good news for our three local Moore League teams remaining in the Division III CIF Tennis bracket—three of the four quarterfinal matches being held on Tuesday feature local teams.

Poly hasn’t learned whether they’re home or away yet, but they will definitely be playing Corona-Santiago, who were a tiebreaker winner over Redlands on Saturday.  Their match will be Tuesday at 3pm.

Wilson will host Vista Murrieta after that team beat Rancho Cucamonga; the match will be Tuesday at 3pm.

Lakewood will play host to Valencia Placencia on Tuesday (also at 3pm), getting the automatic home match since Valencia hosted their last match, a 13-5 win over Torrance.  If the Bruins and Lancers both win, they’ll face each other in the semifinals.  Of the three Moore League teams, it looks like Wilson will have the hardest road ahead of them against the hot Vista Murrieta team, who won their last match 15-3.
