The Lancers will be the favorite today as they travel deep into the Inland Empire to see the Valley View Eagles. The #3 seed from the Inland Valley League upset Redlands East Valley last week, 6-3.
The Eagles are led by junior pitcher Marisa Gardea, who shut down REV in the final innings as the Eagles scored six unearned runs. She dominated with the riser pitch, a pitch the Lancers haven’t seen very often in league play this season.
