Left fielder Steve Tinoco’s two-run homer in the ninth inning wasn’t enough as the Dirtbags dropped their sixth straight game.
In their fifth game in Northern California, Jason Corder hit his third homer in four days, while Danny Espinosa homered in the fourth, part of a two-run inning. Tinoco also had an RBI single in the fourth, tying it at 3-3. Jonathan Jones’ hit streak of 13 games was snapped after going 0-for-4.
I was able to enjoy the game with CSTV’s GameTracker, offered on LongBeachState.com. Recently, Long Beach State revamped their site with the help of College Sports TV. Now, you can watch an updated stat and play-by-play board straight from the Long Beach State home site. For some games, you can also watch the game on a live feed. They also have GameTracker for volleyball.
Sure, it’s most useful when the Dirtbags hit the road, but I also take my laptop to most of the games at Blair and keep the GameTracker open. With stats and player bios at my fingertips, it’s like watching the game on national TV.
The Dirtbags try to get back on track against UC Riverside this weekend.
So, when you want to get an update, check out GameTracker.
