Just what kind of night was it?  With a 23-13 lead in the second half, St. Anthony muffed a punt and Fairmont Prep scored a few plays later.  Then on the ensuing kickoff, the Saints fumbled and Fairmont again converted the turnover into points.

For the third game in a row St. Anthony (1-2) turned the ball over four times and Fairmont rattled off 22 unanswered points on the way to a 35-23 victory.

“First of all we have to take care of the ball,” said St. Anthony coach Brian Walsh.  “We’re doing a lot of things well, but that’s not enough.  We need to be more disciplined.”

St. Anthony will try to balance their books next Friday at Clark Field against Montclair Prep.
