Got an email from a Poly soccer supporter that I thought I’d pass on.  Former Poly Jackrabbit Lauren Jackson, who now plays soccer at Kansas, was named Big 12 defensive player of the week—Long Beach fans don’t fear, she received the honor prior to Kansas’ defeat of Long Beach State, so you don’t need to have mixed feelings!
