Wilson Tops St. Joseph

Sophomore, Alexis Hayes, earned the medalist honors on Tuesday at Recreation Park Golf Course (Par 38) firing a five over par round of 43, which included a birdie on the par five seventh hole. Hayes round helped the Bruins (1-0) open the season with a victory over the St. Joseph Jesters 240 to 265.

Bruin Senior, Alex Hoye, finished two shots back of Hayes shooting a round of 45. Hoye’s round got off to a tough start, but she rebounded nicely making five pars over her final eight holes.

Bruins Beat the Barons 

Sophomore, Alexis Hayes, earned the medalist honors for the second day in a row as Wilson defeated Fountain Valley 242 to 244 at Skylinks Golf Course (Par 36) on Wednesday. Hayes made four pars during her round of 45.

Junior, Dee Dee Do, shot the second best score of the day for the Bruins. She finished with 48. 

The Varsity Bruins improved 2-0 for the season.
