The Poly Jackrabbits (3-0-2) were a little frustrated on Tuesday night, and that might be the biggest understatement of this season. The seniors got the team going in practice on Wednesday, and followed through yesterday with six of the eight goals in the 8-0 win over Compton.
Midfielder Megan Brock got the scoring started off a pass from her sister Jessica Brock, and the ‘Rabbits were off and running. Senior forward Emily Strombom added two first half goals. And still making her comeback after major knee surgery, Keyana Thompson-Shaw netted two goals– much to her teammates delight.
Poly will travel to Lakewood and Compton will travel to Cabrillo next Tuesday.
