The Panther sprint relay team participated in the Inaugural California Indoor Championship at the Save Mart Arena on the campus of Fresno State University, February 5 and 6, 2010. Five student athletes competed on the 145 yard banked oval track.
Jordan seniors Vincent Porter, Rashad Harris, Victor Donald, Dominique Pearson and Sophomore Jaelin Owens all took on the best sprinters in the state. The 4×145 team of Owens, Harris, Donald, and Porter finished in 68.91, a top six finish in covering the 580 yard distance. The 4×400 with Dominique Pearson, Rashad Harris, Jaelin Owens, and Vincent Porter anchoring finished in 3:45.7.
“The meet provides an opportunity for California student athletes to participate in indoor track,” said Jordan coach Glenn Curtis Johnson. “The meeting was well managed and we look forward to next years edition.”
