Yankee lefty CC
Sabathia made only a handful of mistakes on Wednesday night in Game One of the World Series.  Two of those mistakes he threw to former LB Poly Jackrabbit and Philadelphia Phillie second baseman Chase Utley, and both of them were sent to the right field seats for the only two home runs of the series so far.

Utley’s two solo-jacks were the only runs scored against Sabathia, and that was more than enough for “all-of-a-sudden-ace” Cliff Lee who went the distance.  The Phillies went on to win 6-1 as they jumped all over the Yankee bullpen in the late innings.  Utley finished the night 2-for-4 and a walk.

If Philadelphia wants to win this series, they’re going to need Utley to stay hot.  Not every pitcher is going to pull a “Lee” and we all know these two teams can hit the ball out of the ball park.  The guys behind Utley will start to hit them too, and when they do, they need Utley to maximize the damage by coming around to score.
