Reports From LBSU
After exactly a month on the road, Long Beach State takes on Colorado State this weekend on Saturday, March 13 in the first of two games at home this weekend. After the Rams, the 49ers also host No. 6 Arizona State on Sunday, March 14. Both games start at Noon.
Long Beach State (3-9) last played at the Campus Pool on Feb. 13, and has since participated in the UC Irvine Invitational. The 49ers have found some success this season at home, grabbing their last win on Feb. 12 against UC San Diego.
Colorado State (4-9) is in their sixth year after having added water polo, and has mostly participated in a few East Coast tournaments, while Arizona State (11-5) has recovered from a slow start to move to No. 6 in the country.
Following Long Beach State’s Sunday match with Arizona State, the 49ers will have their Alumni Game, rescheduled from earlier in the year.
