After two rounds of play at The Prestige at PGA West, the Long Beach State men’s golf team remains in 12th place after shooting a 21-over par 309 on Tuesday afternoon at the Stadium Course in La Quinta. The 49ers recorded a 308 in Monday’s opening round.

TCU jumped in the standings to lead the field of 13 teams as the Horned Frogs carded a two-day score of two-under 574 to hold a four-stroke lead over second place Stanford (578) and five-strokes over third place UCLA (579).

Freshman Raymond Ho moved up 11 spots in the standings to finish the day in 58th. Ho is 10-over 154 after shooting rounds of 79 and 75.

Fellow classmate Philip Chian fell in the standings from 31st after a second round score of 81 to tie for 59th.

Sophomore Kevin Roy improved by two shots with a 77 to tie for 63rd.

Seniors Robbie Berton tied for 69th and Steve Gibson finished in 77th.

Daniel Jennevret of TCU sits on top of the leaderboard with an eight-under 136 and holds a four-shot lead over two players tied for second.

Final round action concludes on Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Live action can be followed on golfstat.com.
