The Long Beach State men’s golf team travels to Northern California for their last regular season tournament as they take part in the U.S. Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford University.

The three-day 54-hole tournament begins on Sunday, Apr. 11 at the par-70, 6,727 yard Stanford Golf Course, with opening round action beginning at 9 a.m. Second round play is scheduled for Monday, Apr. 12 as teams will tee off at 9 a.m. and the final 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday, Apr. 13 with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. All three rounds can be followed live on golfstat.com.

LBSU will be among a field of 20 teams as seniors Robbie Berton and Michael Drake, sophomore Kevin Roy and freshmen Benjamin Lein and Raymond Ho will represent the 49ers as they go up against No. 12 Arizona State, No. 34 California, Denver, No. 47 Fresno State, Hawaii, Lamar, No. 6 Oregon, No. 24 Oregon State, No. 35 Pepperdine, No. 33 San Diego State, San Francisco, San Jose State, No. 14 Southern California, No. 1 Stanford, UC Davis, No. 57 UC Irvine, No. 4 UCLA, No. 3 Washington and Washington State.

The 49ers are coming off from a 14th place finish at the 15-team Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in Awendaw, S.C., as The Beach carded a 51-over 903 (307-297-299). Roy led the way for LBSU as he tied for 55th as he shot a 11-over 224 (80-72-72).
