Boys’ Soccer
League champ Millikan will host the winner of a wild card match between Capo Valley and Fountain Valley, Wilson gets to play host to Aliso Niguel, Jordan will visit Trinity League champ JSerra, and Cabrillo will host a wild card match against Moorpark; if they win they play at top-seeded El Toro. The wild card will be Wednesday at 3pm, the other games on Friday at 3pm.
Girls’ Soccer
Wilson, who dropped to fourth seed over the forfeits we’re already very tired of thinking about, has a tough road, as suspected: They start at Los Osos in the first round. Cabrillo is at Temecula Valley, and Lakewood is at El Toro (ouch). League champs Poly have a tough draw as well with Santa Margarita coming to west Long Beach. All those games will be on Thursday, at 3pm.
Girls’ Water Polo
There hasn’t been much respect shown to the Moore League this season, as only one league team is in the first round without having to win a Wild Card. Wilson, the Moore League champ, will host the winner of a wild card game on Wednesday at 3:15pm (they get the winner of Irvine/Fountain Valley). Both Poly and Millikan host wild cards on Tuesday at the same time–Poly will have Northwood, an at-large bid from the Sea View League, and Millikan gets San Marcos, at-large from the Channel league.
