If you’ve got any questions, leave ’em in the comments! We’ll be on the phone with coaches for a while putting together tomorrow’s big playoff preview…..
UPDATE: Was just looking at the Times’ site when I noticed that Compton got into the II-A bracket, which means the Moore League had 6 of 7 teams get a postseason berth.  That’s worse than the NBA….

BOYS: On Wednesday at 7:30pm there will be 16 first-round games; five of them will have Moore League teams playing.  Jordan will host Bell Gardens as one of two home teams; Lakewood visits Etiwanda, Baseline league champ. Millikan as an at-large will visit Los Al.  Poly hosts Montebello; and Wilson will visit Oxnard, the Pacific View Champ.  The earliest possible Moore League rematch would be Millikan Lakewood in the quarterfinal, a rematch of the game that guaranteed Lwood a spot and sent Millikan to at-large land.
GIRLS: These games will be Thursday at 7:30pm.  Poly will be hosting Paramount; Jordan will visit Troy; Millikan will visit Quartz Hill; Cabrillo will visit San Clemente (the Jags received an at-large bid); Wilson will visit Schurr.

We’ll be announcing the brackets live as they’re released at noon, but wanted to post immediately that Millikan’s boys’ team received one of just four at-large bids, and Cabrillo’s girls’ team received one of just three at-large bids!  That means we’ve got ten Moore League teams in the playoffs!
