The Rams have been riding some great pitching as of late and didn’t lose a league game in May, winning by a combined score of 42-0 in three games. Elizabeth Gonzalez and Brook Cullison have posted sub-4.00 ERAs this season while Brittany Adler (.462 AVG, 16 RBI) and Jordan Collier (.436 AVG, 15 RBI) have led the offense at the top of the lineup. The Bears of Temecula Valley (13-12, 7-8) are the at-large bid from the Southwestern League. Millikan will need to avoid the bat of TIffany McIntosh who is hitting at a .406 clip and racked up 21 RBI this season.
Poly @ Rancho Verde High, 3:15pm
The Jackrabbits hit the road to the Inland Empire today where they will see the #4 seed from the Inland Valley League. Rancho Verde (14-10, 8-6) will need a big game from Beverly Diaz who is hitting .344 with 15 RBI, and Poly will need just as big a game from Ashley Betance-Kearn. The junior pitcher has kept the Jackrabbits in games all year long, posting a 3.73 ERA with 73 strikeouts on 97.2 innings pitched.
