Just in case you were sleeping off that Halloween candy coma all day Sunday, here’s the latest from the newest home for Jackrabbits who love the spotlight…

Chase Utley seems to be the only Phillie who can hit Yankee lefty CC Sabathia. In Game One of the series the crafty Sabathia was making most of the Phillie lineup look silly, while Utley calmly put two fastballs into the right field stands. Last night in Game Four the second baseman picked up where he left off and went 2-for-4 with another home run and 2 RBI. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for Brad Lidge who gave up the lead in the ninth for the Phillies, giving the Yankees a commanding 3-1 series lead. Three solo jacks for Utley makes no sense when you think how good Rollins and Victorino are.

DeSean Jackson refuses to run into the end zone unless the ball is behind midfield. Okay, not really, but it sure seems that way. The speedster took it to the house on a big play again which makes it six scores this season, all coming from 50 yards or more. The second year pro has 24 catches and 501 yards in seven games, and it’s clear that Andy Reid needs to figure out how get Jackson the ball more now that he’s carrying it all the way into the end zone. Oh come on, you know we were all thinking about it.
