UCLA claims a positive test by Long Beach State led to the game’s cancelation; Long Beach State strongly disagrees.
The men’s first game in the Pyramid would be Dec. 6 against Seatle U., the women would open at home Dec. 7 against William Jessup.
The project will include a new turf football/soccer field, six-lane track, new bleachers and additional facilities for both boys’ and girls’ sports programs.
