You can probably smell it right now—the playoffs.  They’re just around the corner, with all CIF brackets being released in the next week.  Of course, we’ll put them on the site as soon as they’re up, so check back early and often to find out where your favorite team is headed!  State brackets for all sports will be released on March 7th.

Boys’ Basketball

CIF-SS brackets for boys’ basketball will be released Sunday at noon; championship games for Division 1 and 2 will be at the Honda Center.  If St. Anthony makes it in Division 5 that championship will be at Colony High.

Girls’ Basketball

Brackets will also be posted Sunday afternoon; championship games will be in the Pyramid at Long Beach State, or at Mater Dei High School.

Girls’ Soccer

Brackets will be released Monday afternoon, championship games will be at Warren, Downey, and Mission Viejo high schools.

Boys’ Soccer

Same as above–brackets will be released Monday, championships at Warren, Downey, and Mission Viejo.

Girls’ Water Polo

Brackets will come out on Sunday, and the championship will be placed at UC Irvine.

Wrestling

Individual wrestlers already know what tournament they’re going to, but team dual meet brackets will come out on Thursday afternoon, finals will be at Los Al this Saturday.
