–Senior Simone Hoey was the top player for both teams fi nishing at 1-over 72.

— Cal Poly forfeited in the 49ers’ fi nal home match, giving LBSU the 7-0 victory and a
perfect home record this season (11-0).
No. 9 Women’s Water Polo (23-5, 4-2)
lost at No. 17 UC San Diego, 9-7
Won vs. No. 13 UC Santa Barbara 9-5
–Melissa Matheson, Justine Morgan, and Chelsea Parks led LBSU with two goals each
in a crucial victory over UC Santa Barbara, 9-5, to secure at least the fourth-seed in
the Big West Tournament.
