TONIGHT AT BLAIR FIELD
LB Millikan vs. LB Wilson, 6:30pm

The Rams (7-0) have a three game lead in the Moore League over the Bruins (4-3) Poly Jackrabbits and Lakewood Lancers.

LAST GAME:
Millikan– The scoreless innings streak ended at 43, but the Rams took care of the Jackrabbits to remain undefeated in league.

Wilson– After struggling with injury and inconsistency in the early part of the season, the Bruins have their ace Tommy Nance back, and are playing a lot better, beating the Lancers 3-0 last week.

PITCHERS:
The Rams are sending Josh Frye to the bump, where he still hasn’t given up a run in four Moore League starts, while the Bruins will start J.T. Mazalewski.  Coach Hall is saving Nance for the very important Friday game against Jordan.  Mazalewski did pitch four scoreless innings against the Rams in the first game between these two teams.

BAT TO WATCH FOR:
Millikan first baseman Jon Singleton has been highly touted and might be drafted pretty high this summer.  After starting the season slow because he wasn’t seeing much to hit, a move up in the order has him mashing everything near the plate.

Wilson shortstop Cody Harris played a lot last year and hit well near the bottom of the lineup.  This season, injuries and pressing at the plate has slowed Harris and the Bruin offense.  But he’s come on as of late, and had a huge RBI against Lakewood last week.
