VIDEO: Wilson makes history, Dirtbags doing it with power

Mike and JJ walk you through the Long Beach Wilson girls’ basketball team’s overtime win over Eisenhower in the CIF-SS championship game. Led by 24 points and seven rebounds by senior Samiya Terry—who just so happens to be student body president—Wilson claimed its first title in 20 years in fairly thrilling fashion.

Speaking of thrills, they are back at Blair Field as Long Beach State’s Dirtbags continue their impressive turnaround and they’re doing it a little differently this time around. Like all around the diamond with one swing of the bat.

That, a bit of softball and swimming and a sick—we emphasize sick—move for the Play of the Week with historic implications.
