We’re getting this going a day early this week to help you get out in front of all the great high school playoff action going on—there’s some driving entailed, however, so be prepared.

If Poly and Millikan win on Tuesday, the Rabbits will be at Corona Del Mar, and the Rams will be at Los Alamitos. Either way, Wilson hosts the winner of Irvine/Fountain Valley.

Boys’ Basketball: Round One, 7:30pm
We’ve mentioned it in two articles already, but doesn’t it seem nuts that six of seven teams from the Moore League made it into the playoffs? Jordan hosts Bell Gardens and Poly hosts Montebello, then Wilson visits Oxnard, Lakewood goes to Etiwanda, Millikan heads down Spring to Los Al, and Compton’s at Simi Valley.
Thursday
Girls’ Soccer: Round One, 3pm
Four teams in action as Lakewood visits El Toro, Wilson plays at Los Osos, Cabrillo drives to Temecula Valley, and Poly hosts Santa Margarita.

Five Moore League teams to follow in the first round, with Poly hosting Paramount, Jordan visiting Troy, Millikan trekking to Quartz Hill, Cabrillo visiting San Clemente, and Wilson at Schurr.
Friday
Boys’ Soccer: Round One, 3pm
If Cabrillo wins on Wednesday they’ll be at El Toro, and Wilson hosts Aliso Niguel, Jordan visits JSerra, and Millikan hosts the winner of Wednesday’s Capo Valley/Fountain Valley game.
Girls’ Water Polo: Round Two 3pm
Whether there’s anything to see today will depend on how the three teams from the Moore League do on Wednesday, we’ll keep you posted!
Boys’ Basketball: Round Two 7:30pm
Same deal as above—there could be six Moore League teams still playing in round two, or zero. Come back later this week to find out!
Saturday

It doesn’t matter in terms of their record in the conference, but the 49ers will want a strong showing on Saturday on national TV as part of ESPN’s Bracket Busters. Go pack the ‘Myd!
