Lakewood and Coach Miramontes attended the Camarillo Duals Wrestling Tournament this weekend and the Lancers wrestlers took 1st place for the second year in a row. 

Junior team Captains Kimo Napohaku (130lb) and Cody Gurule (125lb) led the way for Lakewood as ten Lancers medaled.  Gurule went undefeated and took first place with while getting eight pins, while Napahaku went undefeated for a first place finish with seven pins and three wins.  Nathan Batres (140lb) and Andrew Becaria (160lb) also finished first.

Napohaku and Gurule also attenended the El Dorado Invitational  Wrestling Tournament last weekend.  Napohaku placed third and Cody placed sixth.
