Popular Asian-inspired rice bowl chain, WaBa Grill, has opened its third Long Beach location in North Long Beach.

The restaurant will take over the former Mom’s Touch space, which closed last year.

To celebrate its first day, all bowls will be buy one, get one half off on Thursday.

Through Jan. 21, customers who go into the store can spin a wheel with the chance to win various prizes like 5-piece dumplings, a 22 oz fountain drink, 10% off an order and more.

WaBa will also give customers the chance to win a $100 gift card or a $50 gift card sweepstakes if they scan their receipt of purchase into the WaBa app between opening day and Jan. 15.

The chain is known for its rice bowls, which come with many protein options like steak and shrimp, as well as plant-based options like tofu and plant-based meat, which are marinated in a signature sauce. The menu also offers tacos, salads and dumplings.

WaBa Grill is at 6191 Atlantic Avenue and will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m Mondays through Saturdays. WaBa’s other two locations are at The Pike in Downtown and on Willow Street in West Long Beach.
