MOLAA’s auction will run through July 19 with artworks available from artists Leonardo Nierman, Francisco Toledo, Zaida del Rio, and others.
Rooted in the idea of “Use What You Have,” the art, wellness and family workshop series is meant to instill new, creative ways of thinking in participants young and old.
“The title was prompted by the idea that if we don’t write our own histories, they will be written for us,” said curator Gloria Sanchez.
“As always, maintaining the safety and security of our guests, actors and crew is of the utmost importance.”
“We wanted to make sure that while it’s educating little kids, we still wanted them to be able to understand it and have fun.”
The 15,000-square-foot space will include a sculpture garden and be the new home of Ellie’s restaurant.
“The city respects art, the city is made of artists. So, if art is going to be what it takes to keep everybody calm, then we have plenty of them.”
The Dew Tour in 2021 will continue as an Olympic qualifying event with World Skate, and serve as the last qualifier for park events in the states before the Tokyo Summer Games.
