Every Friday for the next three weeks, outdoor retail center 2ND & PCH is showing free movies outside for the fall continuation of their Movies & Moonlight series.

2ND & PCH will close down Seaport Way to traffic, that’s the street running through the middle of the center, and set up chairs for attendees. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets but keep in mind space is limited, and provided seats are given out on a first-come-first-served basis. 2ND & PCH officials recommend arriving at least an hour or two before the movies start at 6 p.m. to snag a viewing spot.

Though this probably goes without saying, we’re just going to say it, guests are required to follow all COVID-19 safety procedures including maintaining a safe distance from other guests and wearing a mask at all times.

The movies will be projected on a giant inflatable screen, the same one used during their summer drive-in movie series, at the south end of the center—that’s the side with women’s apparel stores Lulu Lemon and Jolie.

The movie line-up is as follows:

  • October 30: “Coco”
  • November 6: “Hotel Transylvania”
  • November 13: “Nightmare Before Christmas”

If you arrive Friday, Oct. 30 in costume between 4:30 and 5:15 p.m., you can also enter a costume contest. Five winners will be selected by a panel of judges in tandem with the attendees and announced by 5:30 p.m. Prizes include offerings from participating 2ND & PCH tenets.
