With so many entities and events now closed or canceled, from restaurants to art walks, retail spaces to museums, artists and galleries have lost the opportunity to show their work to the public, at least in person.
Enter this “virtual marketplace” where, if you have the means right now, you can find and purchase the work of these creatives through their individual websites or the galleries that represent them. Some are offering deals in the form of giveaways or sales and all would appreciate your patronage, even if that means simply leaving a comment, liking or sharing a post.
Let’s the keep the arts thriving in Long Beach.

David Allen

Shamir Alvarez

Lanny Liu

Pono Lopez

Using repurposed materials, Weiss’ sculptures and installations often reflect the natural world, sometimes as commentary about how plastics are affecting the ocean. The Dark Art Emporium

With all events on hold, it’s become difficult to represent local artists through the gallery’s rotating shows at local businesses, so about a week ago the gallery started a “Meet the Artist” series on Instagram @kennedy_grace_gallery.
