Gay Entertainment Directory (GED Magazine) is bringing its annual Long Beach Santa Fun Run back to the city for the fourth time, so if you see a group of scantily clad individuals running across town in Santa hats and reindeer antlers (and not much else), at least you’ll know it’s for a good cause.

The Fun Run is set to take place on Saturday, December 4 to raise funds for The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach Youth Services, which includes the Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment (MYTE) after school program. You can register online here before Sunday, November 27 or sign up starting at 12:30PM at Paradise Bar the day of. The run will commence at 2:30PM.

“Come in your holiday attire,” said Michael Westman, editor of GED Magazine, in a statement. “All are welcome! Run, walk or watch. We encourage everyone to come together and support great causes in our community.”

The 1.5-mile route is an easy one and gives participants two opportunities to donate. To register as an individual it’s $20 plus a donation of a non-perishable food item. This includes entry to the Fun Run for one person, buffet lunch, after party at Hamburger Mary’s and one raffle ticket. After Sunday, the cost goes up to $30.

To register as an individual sponsor, $50 plus a non-perishable food donation includes entry to the Fun Run for one participant, buffet lunch, after party at Hamburger Mary’s, 10 raffle tickets, an official finisher’s medal and a Santa hat.

The run will end at Hamburger Mary’s in downtown Long Beach, where an after party, drag performances, music, a lunch buffet, drink specials, gift raffles and a prize for the most festive fun run outfit will be given out.

The event is made possible thanks to Hamburger Mary’s, Paradise Bar and Restaurant and other local businesses that contributed funds and resources. GED Magazine is the largest LGBT nightlife and entertainment magazine in the West that supports activities for the community, as well as charities and local businesses.

The run begins at Paradise Bar & Restaurant, located at 1800 East Broadway and ends at Hamburger Mary’s, located at 330 Pine Avenue.
