The 30th Annual California Women’s Conference, the largest and longest running women’s conference in the United States, will bring to Long Beach thousands of attendees from around the globe to experience two days of inspiration, motivation and personal and professional growth, December 7 and 8 at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.

“I’m overwhelmed by the change in women from when they walk through the door to the time they leave….and the projects they take on that make our world a better place for all of us,” said Chief Executive Officer Michelle Patterson in a statement. “It’s truly inspirational to see Women of the future leading the way by collectively building a growing community of empowered, business savvy, forward looking women!”

Speakers presenting on the theme of the conference, “Women of the Future—Leading the Way” and other topics, include CNN news anchor Carol Costello, Long Beach local and founder of the Freedom Writers Foundation Erin Gruwell, American Boxing Promoter Don King, American Idol Top 20 Contestant Lovey James and New York Times bestselling author Kathy Freston, among a long list of these acclaimed thought leaders

The theme seeks to encourage women to take a bigger part in “changing the course of their own lives and within their communities,” according to the release, while the conference will also focus on the “5 to Thrive” program, which focuses on Financial, Career, Social and Community well-being. Speakers will share their experiences with leadership, motivation, healthy living, human rights, social services, entrepreneurship, fashion, education and film.

Past speakers at the California Women’s Conference include Huffington Post co-founder Arianna Huffington, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul Jack Canfield, acclaimed actress Rosie Perez and Oprah, according to the announcement.
