5:15pm | Local writer and gardener Jennifer E. Beaver will discuss her latest book, Edible Gardening for California, at Gatsby Books this Saturday.
The Saturday, May 14, event begins at 2 p.m., when Beaver will talk about edible gardening, the practice of growing vegetables, fruits and herbs in a dedicated area or mixed in with traditional flower beds. The practice has grown in popularity as a money-saving way to enjoy fresh food.
