Wow, what an amazing day!
I had no clue at how draining it can be out there in the sun on race day, walking mile upon mile around the track getting good angles, climbing stairs, learning the route and rubbing shoulders with other talented photographers. It was quite the day and I have quite the lineup of images to show for it.
The highlight of the day was shooting in the pits, but the lowlight was missing the car that caught fire. Dang, if I were only three minutes more patient I would have been in the perfect spot! Can’t win them all, I guess.
