UPDATE 8/22/14 3:36PM  |  Reports from Cal State Long Beach campus indicate that all of the art has been taken.

ORIGINAL 8/21/14 12:10PM  |  As the old saying goes, one’s trash could be another’s treasure—and Cal State Long Beach (CSULB) is hoping that you’ll find your treasure before it hits the bin.

Stacks upon stacks of student artwork currently line the hallway of the second floor of Fine Arts Building 4, and it’s all free for the pickin’—until the university throws whatever’s left into the garbage bin on August 30. This gives students five days into the fall semester to go check out the work.

The artwork must be cleared away to make room for next semester’s work, so get it before it’s gone.
