The fourth annual Love Long Beach festival is set to take place this weekend at Shoreline Aquatic Park.

Organized by Alfredo’s Beach Club and Subtract Music, the two-day event will feature music from over 40 of the best dance music DJs of Los Angeles playing house, techno, dubstep and drum and bass. A healing arts village, arts and crafts, a food court and bar, vendors, yoga, Flow DojoAerial Butterflies, fire dancing and sound healing will also be provided during the festival.

Shoreline Aquatic Park is the new location for the family-friendly event—which used to be held at Granada Beach—in an effort to keep up with the festival’s growth, according to the event page

The Love Long Beach Festival was formerly put on by Alfredo’s Beach Club owner Fred Khammar, a local legend who passed away in December at age 69.

“I hope that this Love Long Beach festival turns into something that annually grows and grows and grows,” he said in a 2015 interview about the second annual Love Long Beach festival. “I just love the fact that I can do this work and see so many people come and enjoy it.”

Now in its fourth year, the festival certainly seems to be living up to Khammer’s standards as it continues to spread “the magic of all that is Long Beach” to its thousands of attendees.

The event will take place July 29 and 30 from 11:00AM to 10:00PM. The event is $5 and free for those 16 and younger. Tickets can only be purchased at the door. Guests can bring chairs and blankets, but no outside food, drinks or ice chests.
