This Friday evening, March 20, Public Beer Wine Shop and Ladyface Ale Companie are hosting “Chicas Art Display,” a special pint night in celebration of female artists and musicians.
In an effort to showcase local women in the arts Ladyface, whose co-founder and head brewer is the revered Cyrena Nouzille, elected to the national Brewers Association’s Board of Directors last year, will be tapping their Bravado sour brown, LA Blonde, Ladyface IPA, Blind Ambition belgian dark, Chesebro IIPA and La Trappistine at 7:00PM, while works of art line the walls of the Downtown Long Beach specialty beer and wine shop.
Artwork by locals Katelyn Papierski, April Osorno, Sarah Eum and Jessica Martin will be on display throughout the night while Alex Hattick of Hellgal and Esther Kang of Coocakes—“two female musicians who put on killer shows,” according to Josh Esparza, Public bartender and spokesman—will be performing at 9:00PM.
