Yes, for one day, Gilmore Girls fans can head to Fox Coffee House in Long Beach, one of three coffee shops in Los Angeles County chosen to participate in Netflix’s national Luke’s Coffee Day, where a little piece of Stars Hollow, Connecticut awaits.
Wednesday marks the 16th anniversary of the first episode of Gilmore Girls, giving Netflix more than enough reason to turn more than 200 coffee shops across the country into Rory’s and Lorelai’s go-to watering hole for coffee, conversation and more. The gesture is a reminder ahead of the November 25 premiere of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
Fans who arrive early, as supplies are limited, can also find a “fun surprise under their custom Gilmore Girls coffee sleeve,” according to EATER.
The Wrigley area coffee shop, known as a hub of creativity for its artistic clientele, boasts a plentiful vegan and vegetarian menu, a friendly staff and laid-back atmosphere.
So whether it’s politics you’re gunning to chat about or a heated discussion about your up-and-down love life, Luke has you covered with a free cup o’ joe to get your morning started.
