2:00pm | Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews and the City of Long Beach are inviting residents to join the Councilmember at the Museum of Latin American Art, MOLAA, on Sunday, August 21st, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Known as Family Free Sunday, Long Beach residents will have access to free art workshops and docent led tours of the exhibition.  “One of our Cities greatest assets is the fusion of many cultures. Incorporating art and cultural events like this one is very important to our social awareness”, said Councilman Andrews.

The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) is the only museum in the United States exclusively dedicated to the presentation of modern and contemporary Latin American art. As such, MOLAA plays a critical role in the vitality of our nation’s cultural landscape, serving the significant and fast growing Latino population.

The event is sponsored by Target. There will be free entry to the museum and free parking. RSVP is required. For more information or to RSVP, call the office of Councilman Dee Andrews at (562) 570-6816.
