6:00am | The Jacqueline Du Pré Ensemble, a faculty ensemble from the Libero Conservatorio Jacqueline Du Pré in Italy, is to give a free performance of Brahms, Schubert, Mozart, Rossini, Debussy and Paganini in Long Beach tonight at the Library Coffeeshop from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
The program includes:
- Johan Halvorsen – Passacaglia (violin, cello)
- Claude Debussy – Sonata (cello, piano)
- Johannes Brahms – Sonata op. 38 (cello, piano)
- Niccolò Paganini – Cantabile (violin, guitar)
- Franz Schubert – Danze (violin, guitar)
- W.A. Mozart, Gioacchino Rossini – Opera arias
- Johannes Brahms – Trio op 87 (violin, cello, piano )
- Claude Bolling Suite ( flute, piano, drums)
The Jacqueline Du Pré Ensemble consists of: Francesco Iorio, violin; Antonio Mostacci, cello; Annalisa Cuel, flute; Norma Lutzenberger, voice; Miriam Garagnani, piano; and Samuele Lambertini, drums.
