There’s still a few tables left for Fuego’s Fourth of July BBQ and Queen Mary Fireworks event, an Independence Day Celebration 6:00PM to 9:00PM featuring Chef Victor Juarez’ homemade Texan beef chili with jalapeno corn muffins. A top-notch view of the Queen Mary’s fireworks and live music will accompany all the Cuban macaroni, Smoked Kielbasa Sausage and Fuego Street Tacos you can ingest.
“Fuego offers a unique view to Long Beach’s largest fireworks extravaganza that’s presented by the Queen Mary,” said Kristi Allen, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Hotel Maya, in a press statement. “Together with Fuego’s Independence Day Celebration Barbecue and live music on the waterfront patio, guests at Hotel Maya will enjoy a brilliant Fourth of July party.”
A variety of salads will be served, including Cuban macaroni, beet and potato, chipotle Caesar salad, kale and berry, cole slaw, potato salad, summer tomato salad, baby mixed greens with assorted dressings, grilled vegetables and fresh fruit. The Seafood and Ceviches Station will feature Alaskan crab legs with shrimp cocktail, mahi mahi ceviche, island style ceviche and calamari and scallop ceviche.
Fuego’s Barbecue Station will offer Baby Back Ribs, Angus Sliders, Swordfish, and Smoked Kielbasa Sausage, along with roasted corn on the cob, honey baked beans, fried chicken, and pork belly macaroni and cheese. The Independence Day Carving Board Station presents Roasted Prime Rib with au jus and horseradish, along with a Baked Potato Bar. Fuego Street Tacos offer Beef, Chicken, Fish, and Barbacoa with roasted pepper salsa, guacamole, tomatillo salsa, cabbage slaw and crispy tortillas.
Fourth of July Sweet Treats will include apple, cherry, pecan and chocolate pies; warm fruit cobbler, bread pudding with caramel sauce, Mexican flan, fruit parfait, crème brûlée, and chocolate mousse; along with assorted cupcakes and brownies, while Fourth of July Barbecue guests will enjoy unlimited sparkling wine and complimentary coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.

If you miss the July 4 event, or you plan to stay the night, Hotel Maya will also present a Fuego Freedom Brunch on Sunday, July 5 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. The Sunday Brunch costs $50 per person and includes Fuego’s famous street tacos, live action omelet station and seafood platters.
